Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at haley@foxrunriding.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Riders need to wear long pants, fitted shirt, and boots with a small heel. (In winter, it is helpful to dress in many layers!)

If you already have a riding helmet, please bring that. In summer weather, please bring a water bottle.

Everyone is different! Most riders try to ride 1x/week.

If you're looking for fast progress in shorter amount of time 2x/week is recommended.  More pleasure type riding averages 1-2x/month.

Lessons run on average 1.5 hours long.  All lessons consist of learning to groom and tack up, riding, and cooling down/putting away their horse.

We accept cash, checks, Paypal, and Venmo.

We do not offer horse riding outside of a scheduled lesson, unless you own or are leasing a horse on-site.
